Bengaluru-based spacetech startup Xovian Aerospace has raised $2 million (about Rs 18.7 crore) in a contemporary funding spherical led by Ashish Kacholia. Present backer Inflection Level Ventures additionally participated.
The startup plans to make use of the raised capital to develop its satellite tv for pc methods, develop its engineering and AI groups, and strengthen business partnerships.
Based in 2019 by Ankit Bhateja and Raghav Sharma, Xovian Aerospace is constructing what it describes as an “AI-powered RF satellite tv for pc infrastructure”. Its know-how focuses on capturing and analysing radio frequency (RF) indicators from house to generate real-time intelligence.
The agency is getting ready to launch its first AI-native RF satellite tv for pc, designed to detect and decode dynamic indicators. It goals to deal with a key limitation of conventional satellite tv for pc imaging, which may wrestle to trace ships and plane when their transponders are switched off or indicators go darkish.
Xovian stated its platform converts RF knowledge into actionable insights, enabling “real-time situational consciousness, asset monitoring, and predictive insights”.
It combines geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) and indicators intelligence (SIGINT) into what it calls a unified resolution intelligence layer.
The startup added that its radio-based {hardware} has been developed indigenously and can now be deployed in house.
The most recent funding follows a $2.5 million pre-seed spherical raised in August final 12 months from buyers together with Piper Serica, Turbostart and Eaglewings Ventures.
