Bengaluru-based autonomous drone developer Suind has raised Rs 20.5 crore in a seed funding spherical led by Transition VC, with participation from IIMA Ventures.

The startup stated it can use the funding to extend the manufacturing and business deployment of Bumblebee, its agricultural spraying drone, and speed up the event of Wasp, an aerial platform supposed for inspection, monitoring and surveillance work.

A part of the investment will even be used to strengthen Suind’s autonomy know-how and engineering capabilities and broaden its business partnerships.

Based in 2020 by Kunal Shrivastava and Kevin Kleber, Suind develops unmanned aerial methods designed to function at low altitudes, near terrain and round obstacles.
